Who are the ChangeMakers?
ChangeMakers are people living all over the world who are taking climate action:

- Students choosing to eat a more plant-based diet
- Politicians delivering climate smart policies

Why we must act
The recent UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report confirms our worst fears and concerns. CO2 levels are at their highest in 2 million years and affecting weather patterns, ocean levels, agricultural productivity, and health.
The catastrophic impacts of climate change are happening all over the world including:
- Forest fires in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Turkey, Italy, and Spain
- Droughts in Zambia, Peru, India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan
- Flooding in Germany, Austria, Haiti, the Bahamas, the United States, Turkey, the UK, Japan, and the Philippines
- Famine in Madagascar, Syria, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, and Yemen
We must act. Our everyday choices have an impact and send a powerful message to local and global leaders that we want a more just and sustainable world, that leaves no one behind.
What can I do?
Every act makes a difference - we are all part of the solution.
Think about:
- Shopping local
- Eating more vegetables
- Recycling, reusing, and repairing your belongings
- Talking to politicians about climate action
- Educating friends and coworkers
- Moving money to a green bank
- Choosing sustainable transport - walk, cycle, public transport, car pool
- Switching to green, clean, sustainable energy
